Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information.

Last Updated: October 10, 2026

MERIDIANO (referred to as "we", "us", or "our") respects and protects the privacy of all users who use our website and services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information. By using our services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information Collection

When you submit an enquiry or use the customer area, we process the name, email address, company, telephone number (if supplied), product reference, quantity, project requirements and messages that you provide. Customer accounts are verified by an email sign-in code. The service records verification and sign-in sessions, together with enquiries, quotations, order status, delivery information and order updates associated with that email address. Customers can view their own business records; authorized staff can administer them. The website and its service providers may also process access times, IP addresses, browser and device information for operation, traffic analysis and abuse prevention. Please do not submit payment-card details, identity documents or sensitive information unrelated to your project. Online support stores the text, images, timestamps and read status you submit. Support conversations are shared with authorized administrators; private conversations initiated by administrators are accessible in the website only to their two participants. Deleting a conversation clears your own view, not the other party’s records; recalled messages leave a recall notice. Staff announcements and their images are public. Customer private information must not be published in announcements.

2. Information Use

We use information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotations and samples, maintain customer accounts, verify email addresses, display and update order progress, and send service messages about sign-in, enquiries and orders. After you verify an email address, enquiries previously submitted with that address can be linked to your customer account. Necessary technical records help limit unusual requests, prevent spam and resolve service issues. Business-record retention depends on project handling, after-sales support, dispute resolution and applicable record-keeping requirements. Contact gianni@meridiano.cc to request access, correction or deletion; records that must be retained will be handled according to the circumstances.

3. Data Protection

The website uses HTTPS in transit and restricts business-record access through email verification, sign-in sessions and role permissions. Verification codes and session tokens are stored as hashes in the application database. Administrative actions are recorded in an audit log. Keep your email account and sign-in codes secure, do not forward codes to others, and sign out after using a shared device. No network service can guarantee absolute security. Contact gianni@meridiano.cc if you suspect unauthorized account use. You may also set a sign-in password after verifying your email. Passwords are stored with a password derivation algorithm and a unique salt, never as plain text. Resetting a password requires email verification and invalidates previous sessions. Email-code sign-in remains available.

4. Information Sharing

We and providers supporting website operation and business communications process information, including Render for website hosting, Cloudflare for application services and security checks, Google Workspace for business email, and Google Analytics for traffic analysis. Cloudflare Turnstile verifies requests and helps reduce automated abuse. Our Guangzhou and Myanmar teams may process business information as needed for your project. Network services and business operations may involve processing outside your country or region. Where disclosure is legally required or needed to address a business dispute, information is provided within the relevant scope. We do not sell your personal information. 5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The customer area uses a necessary sign-in session cookie. Language preferences may be kept in browser local storage. Security verification services may process device and browser signals. The website uses Google Analytics to understand visits. You can manage cookies and website storage in your browser settings; blocking necessary cookies may prevent sign-in from working. Enquiry messages and verification codes are not used as public page content. This website does not process online payment-card transactions. Selecting “Remember me” keeps the sign-in cookie for up to 30 days. Otherwise, a browser-session cookie is used with a server-side maximum of 24 hours. Signing out, resetting a password, access changes or clearing browser cookies may end a session earlier. Do not select “Remember me” on shared devices. Saving passwords in a password manager is controlled by you and your browser settings.
